Terms and Conditions of Your Powertrain Plus Limited Guaranty.
For a period not to exceed 3 months or 3200 miles, First Coast hereby guaranties the engine, transmission, and drive axles subject to the conditions set forth below. First Coast Auto Sales Inc. is not responsible for any loss of use, loss of time, loss of income, consequential damages, damages to property or any other loss as a result of any defect in or malfunction of this vehicle.

Definition of Mechanical Failure
The malfunction of any manufacturer or like replacement part failing as a result to perform as originally designed, due to a defect in manufacture or workmanship, excluding any normal wear and tear or excessive misuse.

Engine Coverages
All internally lubricated parts contained within the engine to include crank shaft, oil pump, bearings connecting rods, pistons, rings, cam shafts, valves rockers, lifters, followers, timing gears, timing chains, timing belts, push rods, valve springs, balance shifts, harmonic balances, flywheel manifolds, and wrist pins. Engine blocks, cylinders, heads, oil pans, and timing covers are covered as a result of the failure of other covered parts.

Transmission Coverages
All internally lubricated parts contained within the transmission case including torque converter, gears, pumps, various clutch clusters, bands, bearing, shafts, shaft forks, valve bodies, and internal seals. Transmission cases and pans are covered only if they are damaged as a result of the failure of the covered part.

Drive Axle Coverages
All internally lubricated parts contained with the drive axle housing including gears, axles, bearings, driveshaft, constant velocity joints, and universal joints. Drive axle housing are housings are only covered if the damage is the damage is the result of a failure of a covered part.

What is not Covered
1. Failure is caused by misuse, modification, lack of fluids, or overheating.
2. If the vehicle is for business purposes.
3. If the odometer has been altered.
4. If the vehicle has had high performance equipment installed.
5. If octane enhancers or racing fuel is used.
6. If the vehicle is stolen or vandalized.
7. If the vehicle is used for racing.
8. Failure caused by the weather, flooding or other acts of nature.
9. Storage fees.
10. Collateral damage resulting from the customer's failure to protect the vehicle when a covered part has failed.
11. Fluids, lubricants, belts, hoses, manual clutch assemblies, fuel systems, electrical systems, batteries.
12. loss of time, loss of use, lodging, rental cars, or other costs arising from failure.
13. Failures covered under other warranties or insurance.
14. Towing charges in excess of $100

Replacement Parts
First Coast reserves the right to use used or remanufactured replacement parts. If the customer desirs new parts he/she wil be responsible for the difference in price.

Where Covered Repairs Are Made
All covered repairs will be made in First Coast's shop. In the event it is not reasonable to do the repairs at First Coast the repairs will be made under First Coast's direction at a shop of it's choosing.
